BRIEF:
Design the upper for SWAG III TD, the budget option for the new SWAG III. Use the existing tooling of SWAG II. Make it lighter and mroe breathable for summer 2022.

The aesthetic of the new upper is determined by the SWAG II tooling and the design language of the new SWAG III

Replace Heel Leather with TPU fuse overlay (Lighter)

Replace Double layered polyester weave with a single layered TPU mesh more (Breathable)

Updated sample with PP skin fuse overlay and screen printed logo.
After I turned my tech pack to the factory. The next morning, I received my first pull over sample ever, along with the shell pack from the factory. I then made changes on shape and porportion on the shell pack and sent it back to the factory. It made me realized how important communication is.
final design review
- The FOREFOOT STRP keeps opening up during wear testing
- The BUDGET is limiting me to only one color of pp skin, less screen prints.
- The HEEL SUPPORT is lightweight but not strong enough.
My internship ended on jul.1 st... but
i asked if i could please stay 1 more day
Cause I really want to follow through the whole process and make sure the final revised upper sample is good before we show it to the retialers for the ordering event.

We went to jinjiang factory first thing in the morning. It was also where the ordering event for retailers was going to take place. I made sure the final pull over sample is executed correctly and if there is any last minute change.
After seeing all 5 colorways sitting on the shelf in the showroom, my internship had officially came to an end.
6 months later... my dream came true
I was literally on anta’s website at least once a day for 6 months straight.
On march 24th, it finally happned. I dreamed of this since I was 11. I was staring at the screen for a good 5 mins. Then I jumped out of my room screaming and crying. Last time I remember that I was this excited was when I got into Art Center. It is literally the best feeling in the wrold, nothing could ever ever beats it.
